In one of our recent seminars, the Hayes Davidson team explored the process of storyboarding for a short film.
What started with a written storyboard exercise was followed by refining these stories and visually explaining each shot. It was important to consider all aspects of the shots, including camera movement, framing, action, any dialogue, music, pace, etc.
"Good drawings are low on my priority list. Someone who can visually show me a story (doesn't even have to be a good story) with maximum clarity, without me having to stop and pause to read dialogue, is an instant yes in my book." Ben Juwono, Disney TV Director.
