A deeply collaborative and creative process

In a deeply collaborative process on the Comporta project, we aligned our creative process with the overall ethos and brand aesthetic for JNcQUOI and Vincent Van Duysen's design. We used low-tech, analogue and hand-drawn methods for image planning and storyboarding to mirror the timeless, hand-crafted approach of the architecture.

We directed extensive on-location filming to capture the authentic sights, sounds, textures, light and vegetation, and create assets that were deeply rooted in the experiential beauty of this landscape. A unifying visual language references the simple yet luxurious palette, natural materials and the tones and textures of stone, wood, water and bark. A bespoke soundtrack combines live commissioned music with the sounds of the ocean, indigenous birdsong, and the rustling of the pines.
