Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Signs on for Teddy Bear Movie

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson may be back in the WWE, challenging for the WWE Championship, but that isn't slowing him down in Hollywood. Johnson has four major movies coming out in the next four months, and reports have just hit that he plans to produce and possibly star in a new movie about teddy bears. The news brief states that the movie is based on a drawing of a little girl asleep with a teddy bear and the caption "Teddy Bears: Protecting innocent children from monsters under the bed since 1902."

With a new movie where Johnson just might play a giant teddy bear on the way, here is a look at what fans will see him at over the first half of 2023. You can watch online movies with all family on best 123Movies site witout pay or downloading.

"Snitch"

First up for Johnson is "Snitch" in February. This keeps the WWE wrestler in the genre his fans love the most. Johnson plays the father of a teenage boy wrongfully arrested for distributing drugs. He then strikes a deal with the U.S. Attorney to become an undercover informant in order to help bring down a drug cartel. While Johnson has been making more family and mainstream films lately, this gives him a chance to get down and dirty in the genre he fits best.

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation"

Originally supposed to see theaters in 2012, Paramount postponed the release for a full year to allow them to convert it into 3D. The movie is a sequel to "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," with the U.S. President impersonated by Zartan of Cobra. The bad guy orders a hit on the Joes, with most of them killed, allowing this movie to introduce a large number of characters not present in the first movie. Johnson plays Roadblock, joined by fellow action star Bruce Willis as the original Joe, Joseph Colton. "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" opens in theaters in March.

"Pain & Gain"

Next up is the Michael Bay movie "Pain amp; Gain." The movie stars Mark Wahlberg as a body builder who teams with an ex-convict, portrayed by Johnson, and a few other friends to kidnap a rich guy at the gym they work out at. The gang tortures the rich guy until he agrees to sign over all his finances to them. When he escapes, he hires a detective played by Ed Harris to catch his kidnappers when the Miami police can't. The movie hits theaters in April.

"The Fast and the Furious 6"

Finally, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson reprises his role of Security Service Agent Luke Hobbs after the main event fight with star Vin Diesel in "Fast Five." Most of the cast returns, including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and a shockingly alive Michelle Rodriguez. The Fast and the Furious 6 hits theaters in May, giving The Rock a new movie every month for the next four.
