One and Twenty Blackfriars
Hayes Davidson was commissioned jointly by the Beetham Organisation and Circleplane to lead visualisations featuring both numbers one and twenty Blackfriars Road for the public inquiry held in September 2008.
The studio worked closely with architects Ian Simpson and Wilkinson Eyre to generate city wide panoramas that showed the projects with other nearby consented schemes. The studio also created images demonstrating the key architectural elements of the Ian Simpson project, including the plaza and sky deck areas.
Evidence was presented on visual issues relating to views from St. James's Park and the Embankment, as well as analysis and rebuttals of visual proofs offered to inquiry by parties opposing the schemes.
Permission for both buildings was granted on 26 March 2009.
